Halestorm

So we were lucky enough to get backstage passes for a meet and greet after the Halestorm concert. We love Halestorm for about a year and a half now, and when we heard they were coming near us for a free concert. Through my lucky networking, we participated in a Facebook contest and got the backstage passes. 

I was really excited to meet them. I had two questions: how do you work together so well as siblings, and why weren't you at my going away party the previous night. The words that came out  of Lizzy's mouth were awesome: we have our days, but it is nice to be with my little brother. And we weren't invited! 

She asked what I was going away to and when I said I was joining the Air Force, she got excited for me and gave me a hug, and wished me a great career. RJ thought it was awesome, and gave me a hug too. :) 

I think the coolest part of this was that even though they have been making music for over a decade, they are still so down to earth. Real people making great music to please other real people. 

I doubt that they will ever read my blog, as I know that I am just an average girl, but if they ever do I want them to know they were more appreciated than they know.
