Harley

A couple of months ago I got into a cat fight about being Kitana from Mortal Kombat and another girl had the same costume. So I decided I was going to fashion myself a Harley Quinn costume. It was my first ever time working with spandex, and my first time making a body suit. As with my experiments 85% of the time I got VERY lucky in that it turned out fantastic. 

And so I did the show as her and got so many compliments, but I didn't get very good pictures of it. 

A couple weeks ago I did a photoshoot with Harley in the downtown-esque area of a nearby shopping area. I was anxiously awaiting the photos because I kind of love Harley, and I was very proud of how well the costume turned out. 

I got the photos back last night, and Oh. My. Goodness. They turned out phenomenal. The heat from the day was unbearable and caused my makeup to run, but the photographer was able to make the makeup look clean. Just awesome. 

There's one shot where I am in this alleyway, and he tinted the picture blue, and it just completely caught the look I was going for. 

This my friends is why I cosplay. To see me bring these characters to life, and to see how awesome the pictures come out.
