Fame and Loathing

Blurb My Brain:
So I am updating from my phone. Again. I came to the realization that I have like 4 days of work although I have two work weeks. Baby shower, going away, cleaning, all excuses to not work. Not that I am trying to get out of the work. In fact, I would rather be swamped than, well blogging. Ok so I would rather blog than do basically anything. But the point is that I don't live the kind of life where everything around me is hysterical, so therefore the Things We Say section is usually pretty bare. So I can't imagine how much more boring it would be to read this blog if I were blogging all the time.

Question: how does a person get their stuff published? And not like a DIY site or something because, come on, I can do that. I want my book to be sold in a Borders in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I don't really want to be famous. I mean it'd be cool and why else would I have a Facebook page FOR my blog? But I do not want to be one of those people surrounded by paparazzi, or taking videos of the birth of my first child. Gross. Not that I will ever be that famous anyway, I just want to feel like I accomplished something.
